me_picMy love for art and design began at a very early age. My mother, being an artist, made sure to provide me with plenty of blank paper and 64 crayons as soon as my fingers could grasp a tool.

I went through school loving art classes, drawing and painting in free time, and acquired my first graphic design job in high school. This was where I learned the programs necessary to pursue the next step in my design career—attending the Illinois Institute of Art.

I graduated with a BFA in Visual Communications in 2002. I have worked at various in-house graphic design jobs. In October of 2008, I finally decided to break free of the corporate, grey cube world and go out on my own as a freelancer/business owner.
